Dwarf / Scandinavian Mythology

The Dwarf is a race of dwarves in Norse mythology who are highly skilled in mining and stonemasonry. Since they have grown a beard since their youth in appearance, they have a long beard, short stature but large build. The beard is an important symbol of status and power for Dwarves. However, their bodies are quite durable and strong.

They were organized in kingdoms or tribes with their own kings, chiefs and armies. They lived in huge underground halls believed to be filled with different kinds of precious stones, especially with their passion for gold. They have unique blacksmithing skills.
